  • Vacation Bible School
    • Description:
      • Taught science experiments to over 70 elementary and middle school students
      • Camps lasted one week each from 8 am to noon
      • Topics included buoyancy, gravity, simple aerodynamics, surface tension, and fluorescence
    • Duration: One week during Summer 2012, Summer 2013, and Summer 2014
  • Habitat for Humanity
    • Description:
      • Coordinated and lead project in which 50-60 volunteers (children and adults) constructed three playhouses for children in foster / military homes
      • Advertised the project and recruited community members and members of local church to participate
      • Worked closely with local Habitat for Humanity director
    • Duration: One ten-hour building day in Spring 2013, plus planning/coordination leading up to the event. Also participated in the event (not as a leader) during Spring 2012.
  • Tutoring
    • Tutored neighborhood individual in mathematics and science to help in their pursuit of a pharmaceutical technician degree (Fall 2012 - Spring 2014)

    • Introduced summer laboratory interns to experimental shock tube techniques; involved students in data analysis and interpretation (Summer 2012, Summer 2013, and Summer 2014)
